Tunica had 430 dog friendly rooms already when it was visited and there are
even more hotels now. There are big 4 lane highways all the way from the
airport to Tunica to the site from every direction.
Tunica was booked the week before we visited for 2010 but is now open.
This is why we have to work at least 2 years out and 3 is preferred.

I thought Memphis was being considered for 2010. I know that they looked at
the site near Tunica. I also know that we would be basing our decision on the
"promise" of new hotels and new highways that are "supposed" to happen based on
"projections" of development. Maybe that was the deal breaker...and I can

It may be considered when checked out but does not seem to be much of afactor
