I happened to glance out at my hummingbird feeders this morning and saw a brown
bird feeding on my Salvia coccinea patch. Got my binoculars and confirmed I
had a Selasphorus. It has a lot of brown/orange so it may be an adult female.
Margie Anderton had one over-winter this past year and it returned earlier this
week. I only live about 5 miles from her, so it may be the same bird.
