*Kanban for the DBA - *Kanban is a Japanese term for 'visual board' or
'signboard' and is a tool for reducing the cycle time of a process,
increasing visibility into the flow of processes, and reducing the amount
of In Process work. In this presentation, we will cover:
· Kanban vs Scrum
· DBA as DevOps
· Creating a board to represent the team’s work
· Is Kanban for me?
*Maria Gandarillas*, our next speaker, has been a software developer for
over 20 years. She holds advanced degrees in mathematics and computer
science. She is also a Certified PM and Scrum Master, and is currently the
Scum Master for POS at Independent Purchasing Cooperative, Miami Florida.
