Terry,
That is a tremendous amount and having spoken to a few of the Childrens Respite
Trust staff today I’ve got an incline on how much that will make a huge
difference to their operations.
You and your company are definitely on the Father Christmas good list this year.
Seasons Greetings everyone.
Regards
Craig

Hi Nick
Yes ,well done for leading us there today, it was an enjoyable route 👍🏻and
as you said a nice tribute to Neil by team Teddy Bear Run 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I managed to raise £2440.00 through a Just Giving page set up by my company
so hopefully TBR will reach their target for donations
Great effort everyone
Hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas 🎅

Thanks Peter.
It was so good to see everyone & as you said, it was proper dark first
thing. (Apart from when I was flashed by a speed camera outside Chapter One
at just gone 6.00am!)
We found a great route down there which I plan to add to one of our Sunday
runs, what great roads.
Events like this focus the mind & make us realise how lucky we are to be
blessed with healthy families & it’s such a pleasure doing something we
love & being able to improve the lot of these lovely families at the same
time.
I’m going to post a link to the Just Giving page again later. If anyone
could find it in their hearts to make a donation, no matter how small, it
would make an incredible difference.
Big hugs all round.
Nick
Ps. The TBR organisers did a tribute to Neil that reduced me & she to
tears. More details to follow but Cathy H, if you’re reading this & haven’t
seen my text yet please can you get in touch when it suits? 07931 371983.

Thanks to Nick again for leading the way once again today on a great and
very worthwhile Teddy Bear run. It was still (very) dark this morning as
we pulled out of Clacket Lane services so the thoughtful addition of
Declan’s audible ‘follow me’ sign was most welcome. (I do see what Nick
means about breathing oxygen though!)
Not sure how much the TB Run made but it was well attended on a dreary
day. Results will be posted on FB in due course I believe.
Well done to all.

Evenin.
We should all have the email re final destination/times etc so any
thought re the best way to Goodwood on Sunday?
As I will have the best satnav in the world sitting next to me I know it
won’t be an issue but keen to hear your thoughts….I might even let
someone else lead! (But not Declan…obvs, as I value my eardrums & like to
breath air with some sort of oxygen content, so he’s going up the back!)😜

Thanks for organising; Cheryl and I are looking forward to it. Clackett
at 0645am sounds good.
Only caveat is we hope to find somewhere quiet to watch the final race
of the F1 season at 1pm...but looking at the schedule that should be
okay 🙂
One side of my windscreen washers aren't working though so hope weather
is okay...if anyone has a 4mm hose connector kicking around let me
know...
Thanks
Sam

Hi all.
Paul would usually be posting this but sadly he is unable to join us
this weekend for reasons beyond his control.
As such, lets sort a cunning plan to get us to Goodwood on Sunday
morning.
First thing I could do with is a list of friends who will be joining us
on the day so please can you confirm if you’re coming with us?
We need to be at Goodwood for about 8.30am so it’s been suggested we
meet at Clacketts Lane Services (westbound) at 6.45am. I’m more than
happy to discuss the route on here but it should take about 1.5hrs,
possibly less that time of day. I haven’t been to Goodwood for a while
so happy to take advice from those of you who’ve been there more
recently re the best way to get there.
You should have an email from Wesley with a disclaimer you will need to
complete & bring with you, don’t forget they are asking for us all to
do a lateral flow test on Saturday evening which makes perfect sense as
we will be amongst some very poorly children & their families for much
of the day. You will also need a printed copy of your ticket or your QR
code to show on arrival.
We should be getting an email tomorrow (Thursday) re our final
destination & if I recall there will be a couple of options with the
route, tunnels are involved! Something else we can chat about on here
or make a final decision on the day.
As I haven’t done a Teddy Bear Run for a while any tips gratefully
received so feel free to comment as required if you think it will help.
All the best
Nick
