As it’s the first Sunday of the month we will be hosting our meet at Teal
Café as usual.
I’ve spoken to them this morning & they are happy to take your orders (&
names so you get the right order!) on arrival but please remember to do the
social distancing bit as you enter. They will also take your details for
track & trace, plus they’ve also asked that we bear with them if they take a
little longer than usual to bring your food. Having said that Carrie & I
popped in there on BH Monday, it was very busy but we were served really
quickly so I wouldn’t worry on that front.
As you can imagine they can’t reserve a table for us so I would suggest
getting there fairly promptly so we can take over a few table outside or in
the gazebo.
We are on a bit of a night out tonight & I might have a slight headache first
thing so I don’t plan to do a pre meet drive on this occasion (sorry), but I
do plan to get to Teal for about 8.30am.
I quite fancy the scenic route home if anyone wants to tag along? Probably a
reverse of the tried & trusted route over Ashdown Forest that we’ve used
recently, Carrie & I did this last week & it was great fun.
Can I ask that you let me know asap if you plan to join us as Teal have asked
for an idea of numbers by this afternoon.
