Will be poping down for a coffee but I'm afraid I won't be to do a run
afterwards Phil

Hi Geoff
It’ll be good to see you again.
We’ll go to the event in Eastbourne then head out for the drive then Stone
Hill.
I haven’t studied the route yet but will do so later & come back to you all but
see you at Tesco’s for 7.30.
Looking forward to it.
All the best.
Nick.

Hi Nick,
My son and I came to our first TVR only meeting at the Teal just before all
this lockdown business started, and it's about time we attended the second
especially as this is on our doorstep, is the picnic destination definitely the
Stone Hill car park and is the convoy from Tesco going going straight there or
via Eastbourne ?
Cheers, Geoff.

Thanks Dave.
I mentioned a little run out for next weekend at our last meet & there was a
good amount of interest.
Then I saw this meet was being planned at HPC Classics in Eastbourne & thought
it might work well. Knowing Dave & a few of our friends from E Sussex attended
the last one we chatted & felt if would be a pretty good option.
I’ll post a link to their website later but I would plan for us to meet at
Tesco’s (as ever) to drive there via Ashdown Forest onto the A22.
I understand there will be a food stall of some description but feel free to
bring you own. We’ll see what the options are for the drive HPC are arranging
but as Dave said a picnic on the forest on the way home could be fun weather
permitting.
To get the best of the drive down I would like to meet at Tesco’s at 7.30am.
I hope this floats your boat, please let me know if you plan to join us for the
drive down, or meet us there if you prefer.
All the best.
Nick.

Evening all Speaking to your man Nick last night and he asked that I post
this, from East Sussex region, to you as well. Hope some of you will be along
to join us... Next weekend was set to be the TVRcc Spies and Ties weekend, with
Sunday out on the Milbrook proving ground. You’re probably aware that the event
was cancelled a while back, and that the club were looking to organise another
“Drive your TVR day” as they did 4 years ago. that has also been dropped for a
variety of reasons . So, how about we do our own thing, with a few others Same
day, Sunday 23rd, we meet at, and join the HPC Classice run and then, weather
permitting, take a small detour and head up to the Ashdown forest for a picnic?
I’m not sure of the route being planned yet but I’m sure we can find a suitable
point to go our own way and head for the forest. Bring your chairs and picnic
hampers and we can chill out hopefully in the sunshine. The meet at HPC begins
around 9 and unlikely to move until around 10ish If anything like last time it
will be busy, there will be a lot of cars and people around, social distancing
will be down to you.I cant tell which car park will be our destination, we’ll
have to find a quiet one when we get there, if you prefer to meet there let me
know, I’ll tell you where we’re hiding! DaveRO, East Sussex
