When I took mine on track at brands with the cat in place and the back box
sleeved it was on the limit, the guy said it’ll just depend on who you get
testing the car.

Hi Colin,
Welcome to the egroup!
The messages here go out to all in the group, which recently as you mentioned
have sadly been about Neil's passing & funeral arrangements etc.
I think you may struggle for trackday companions from the local group on this
occasion as it happens to be the same day as our recently departed members
funeral.
I am aware that Aaron Moyce (dark green car) & Clive Letherby (white car) will
be testing their recently purchased Tuscan challenge race cars at Brands that
day and will welcome any fellow TVR owner, so do stroll around the
pits/garages, pop your head in and say hi to them.
With regards to noise level if the car/exhaust is standard you should scrape
through ok, but if it has been modified / decatted then sorry to say it's
unlikely to pass, if you need any help/advice feel free to call me or drop me a
line either on the group or directly
Regards
Paul

Hi guys,
I’m brand new to all this, TVR ownership as well. Sad that I seem to be
joining in sorry circumstances. So I don’t know if this reply goes to one
person or a whole group???
I may have met some of you with my wife Nicky at the recent Biggin Hill air/car
show, which is how I got enrolled onto the list. I have purchased this
Chimaera from Giles Cooper
https://www.gilescooperautomotive.co.uk/vehicle/tvr-chimaera-45-450-in-colchester-essex-262b6b39-dbb3-450e-acfa-b452eae47628.
I intend to be an active member of the club and look forward to meeting you all
at some point soon. I’ve booked myself into a Brands Hatch general track day
next Thursday, 3rd October. Not having driven one before (apart from a test
drive) , I thought I’d see how it performs, handles etc. In other words, get
familiar with it in a controlled environment. It’s a static 105 decibel limit
so hopefully it will pass! Anyone else care to join me?
Keep connected,
Best regards,
Colin

Subject: [selnwktvrcc] Memories of Neil
Afternoon All,
Facebook has just reminded me of this event on 20th September 2015. Parked up
beside Neil’s car (on the far right) at the St Christopher’s Hospice car show
in Orpington. Neil organised this event for us shortly after joining the group
if I recall. A true TVR fan from the start!
Regards,
Peter
