Not really what any of us want to hear at the moment but sadly it was bound to
happen!
At last weekends (brilliant) meet we discussed going on from Teal cafe In
October for our annual charity get together at the cricket club. Lee’s been
working hard in this but it’s now impossible to host so has been pulled.
There is a plan B in the planning stage which (if it goes ahead) won’t require
a large group but will be a lot of fun as well as supporting the charity that’s
helped several of our dear friends & families in their time of need.
We’ll keep you posted on this one.
We’re just about to go on our holiday to The West Country (first time we
haven’t visited the Italian lakes for a while!) so we won’t be about this
weekend or next.
As the weathers looking great & while you still can why not get your heads
together & sort a drive for Sunday? I’m happy to suggest a couple of routes if
anyone fancies taking the helm.
When I get back I WILL talk to Teal to see how they’re coping with the new
legislation. I’m not holding my breath & don’t expect the rules to change for a
while but no harm in getting a feel for things.

Subject: TVRCC Covid Restrictions
Good morning everyone
It looks as though we are back to the restrictions and meetings will not be
allowed again. The 6 people rule is quite clear so, after this weekend
gatherings of more than 6 people inside or outside are not permitted again.
Some people have suggested that all turning up at the pub at the same time
and keeping social distanced is not an organised meeting but this is
certainly not in the spirit of the rules and will probably be ruled illegal
by the constabulary. We all need to do our bit to overcome the virus and
comply with the law.
So, it’s back to zoom for the time being.
