You’re fine Robin & most welcome to join us.
Will we see you at Tescos or the venue?
Might be worth checking with E Sussex to see if their convoy is heading your
way.
See you on Saturday

Hi Nick,
I hadn't paid much attention to this event because I thought I'd be in
Cornwall. However, I now need to be at home over the weekend for various
reasons and am around on Saturday.
Would I be able to join in or is the list closed?
Best wishes,
Robin

The charity event starts at 12.00, they open the doors for the car show at
10.00 which is why we need to be there for 9.00.
The main event goes on well into the evening.
All the best

Hi all.
Quick update re Saturday.
We did a dry run of the route today & can confirm it takes about 30
minutes to get from Tescos to The Old Rectory at West Malling. So let’s
stick with plan A, be at Tescos for 8.15am & ready to leave at 8.30am
sharp.
If it’s easier for some of you to meet us at the venue by all means do so.
The Old Rectory has a large carpark & we will be directed to our parking
area on arrival. Tea & coffee will be available asap & burgers will be
available foc for us from about 11.00am. I will have a card for you to
show to claim your burger. These have been laid on by Clive as a way of
thanking us for our help.
We will need to log our cars in on an iPad type device from 11.00am, it’s
dead easy to do (even I managed it) but it’s important you do this or you
could get charged!
The event is open to the public from 10am, it’s up to you if you want to
let them sit on your cars but we’ve been asked to do all we can to extract
some cash for the charity when talking to the public so please do your
best.
This is an all day event that goes on well into the evening. We can leave
after midday but we’re also more that welcome to stay as long as we like &
enjoy the party! By the sound of it there’s some pretty good raffle prizes
up for grabs so feel free to dig deep.
I’ll try to post a link to the route by Thursday but it’s dead easy, at
this stage if it helps the venues postcode is ME19 5PU
Feel free to shout out if you have any questions.
All the best
Nick

Hi all
Our old mate Clive who races a white Tuscan Challenge car has asked if
anyone would be interested in attending a charity event on July 30th in
support of Demelzas Hospice.
It’s at The Old Rectory in West Malling from 9.00am to midday & there’s a
free burger & drink to all those showing their cars.
Max 20 cars, so if you fancy it please get you name down asap. I hope to
go but will be flying solo as Carries away at our daughters hen weekend!
More details to follow nearer the time.
All the best
Nick
