FYI,
We are setting up a Lunar Eclipse event with The Fleet, in the area of
the fountain. They are doing a special presentation with Astronomer
Lisa, and I have committed to support with observing after her
presentation is done. This is the Sunday night following our banquet.
Moon Rise: 16:53
Partial Eclipse begins: 19:33.
Maximum Eclipse: 21:12
Partial Eclipse ends: 22:50
My thoughts, set up about Sunset, observe full Moon. Host observing
through maximum and call it a night. I am working out details. No
permits needed by us. There is an entry on the Outreach Calendar.
