I forgot to mention this subject in the last meeting.
As you may know, Astrobin is an astrophotography specific image
sharing site and many SDAA members use it - so far I found 17 SDAA members
and I'm sure there are more since Dave isn't in my list yet:)
With the following benefit, I would like to create an Astrobin Group for
SDAA members. I don't mind doing administration. If possible, I would like
to add a couple of trustable members to admin.
1.We can find another member who is doing imaging
2.We can see other members photo
Here is my plan to create a group.
1.Limit group member to SDAA member only
*I will contact Mel or Gene to confirm membership when people request to
join group
2.I will make it a public group. If there are too many spams, I may change
it to private or find a better way to filter it.
3.Member's photo will be added to the group automatically.
*Since I will check SDAA membership, this should be fine. If problems
happen like people post inappropriate images, it can be changed to approval
base.
Let me know your thoughts.
