Pray for the rain to pass! It shouldn't be too bad if it does though. Just
have your scouts prepare with rain gear and to have everything protected
from the wet in or on their packs. Remember, cotton will not dry until
after we return from the trip, so leave it behind for comfort. Also, 1 pair
of boots are all anyone needs. A second pair just gets wet also and becomes
more to carry on the trail.

Here's the list of hikers:

Adults

Burton Jim

Kernodle Bob

Lakey Bart

Maynard John

Paonessa Nestor

Steed Derek

Total 6

I look forward to seeing you at the Hut at 4:30p. We will try to quickly
get on the road as we will have a full schedule before our camp destination.

Mr. Bates, we will miss you! Boys, get ready for the "happy dance"! J
