Merit Badge University Schedule
Friday, February 24th
Meet at the Moose at 1 PM Friday
We leave at 1:10 for Missoula.
Wear Field Uniform Shirt for travel to Missoula (Class A)
Upon arrival at the University of Montana we will do a brief tour of campus
followed by registration.
Dress for the weather.
Friday dinner will be at the U of M Dining Hall (All-you-Care-to-Eat Buffet)
On Friday night Scout opportunities include Game Room at the University
Center, a movie and BSA concessions and trading post.
Friday night camping inside Schreiber Gym.
February 25
Breakfast 7am . Opening ceremony at 7:45am @ Urey Lecture Hall
Period 1- 8:30am-12:00pm
Lunch 12:00pm-1:00pm @ Schreiber Gym
Period 2 - 1:15pm-4:45pm
Closing Ceremony 5:15pm @ Urey Lecture Hall
Leave for Whitefish after ceremony.
Things to bring:
Sleeping Bag / Sleeping Pad
Toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and other toiletries
Clothes for the next day. You will wear Field Uniform Shirt Saturday again
as well.
Notebook and pencil/pen
Spending cash for concessions and trading post.
Friday Night Dinner, Saturday Breakfast and Lunch and registration amounts
to $37 cost for scouts.
Meal money for a snack on the way home is not included in that cost. We'll
leave at 5:30ish
Scouts attending: Ryland, David, Bryce, August, Easton, Davin and Sam
Adults: Mrs Rena Armstrong, Mrs Brit Wheeler and Mr. Gary Carmichael
Armstrongs will be traveling down earlier. Wheeler and Carmichael will
drive down at 1:10 PM departure time

1, 2, 4b, 4c, 4d, Bring copy of Part C of BSA Medical form for counselor to
verify requirement 2. - Choose Requirement 3 Athletic Activity, think about
and "Be Prepared" to discuss 3a, 3c, 4a (need two athletic activities) with
counselor

Nothing listed for prerequisites but I recommend you wear an old long sleeve
shirt due to sparks.

welding profession - Period 1 MT-Y25 Welding S P
Citizenship in the Nation David
2, 5, 6, 7d, 8 For #8, an email is acceptable. Print a copy for the
counselor.
