We fit the Garmin 3210, a 10" chart plotter in that spot with plenty of room to
spare.
Lisa says the Simrad has a great reputation, especially with the commercial
crowd. From what she hears the B&G maybe a step down from the Simrad.

Anyone familiar with Simrad or B & G 7 inch Chartplotter? I’m trying to
find out if we can fit one.
We are 3,000 miles away from our boat and considering the latest B & G T7.
We have a 2001 SW 1000 with the factory fiberglass box above the counter with
3 Raymarine displays. I think it could fit to the right side but I don’t
know. We may buy the RAM Mount #S11314 at West Marine that provides lots of
positioning. Any thoughts on this would be very helpful.
