John did you guys have problems with parking and bringing telescopes and
unloading.
I know I didn't show up until later in the afternoon. Because we had STEM. We
did a little stargazing didn't we last year. i don't know i think my memory is
going.
Did everyone that brought a telescope, were they able to unload close then go
park or was that a problem. Is it worth the trouble maybe if I could get them
to save like 4 or 5 parking spaces for the SAS. I know Jim comes early when he
brings his big telescope and because of the trailer they let him park. Do you
want me to bring this up. They are talking about bringing in other groups the
loggers are one of them. and that will put a huge problem for parking.

It was a good event in the day, we were clouded out for the night -
nothing to do about that. What we have been doing there works very well IMO,
we get a nice bump at our next meeting.
What we can do better is clearly promote the next meeting and star party
to get better pull-through.
I don't think the event can do anything better other than fine-tune their
staffing especially for parking management (where spacing was a mess and
stress was higher than it should have been).

This year Valleyfest has or will receive a NASA display and Moibus
will take possession of it after Valleyfest is over.
Mobius will have their portable planetarium there.
Does the Spokane Astronomical Society want to participate this year.
Saturday Sept 22nd 2018 all day event if the weather holds out for
star party that evening to look at the almost full moon.
They are starting to have planning meetings. Did we have any
problems last year were there any concerns that I need to let the committee
know about?
