I just got the board meeting minutes from Nick and it looks like the August
general meeting program will all be about solar eclipses. Could you please add
the following to the Asterisk board page for the program:
The August SAS General Meeting will be at River View Retirement Community
Center, 2117 E. North Crescent Ave. Spokane , WA 99207.
Hello fellow astronomers, the August SAS general meeting program will all be
about “Everything you want to know about Solar Eclipses but where afraid to
ask”. Mike R will talk about Photographing Eclipses, Mary S and Paul Y will
talk about Viewing Partial Eclipses, Jim P will have eclipse information from
Wikipedia, YouTube and NASA web sites. There will also be a Safety Discussion
for Viewing Eclipses and then a Question & Answer Period. Come to the meeting
with all you questions and answers this will be a great informative program.
