You know, it turns out I had that telescope locked in trunk of my car. It has
been there since I took it to EWU a week ago. I just forgot I had it. EWU has
those little round red Edmund Scientific Astroscan telescopes they focus
(without filter) on the sun and project onto a white board. I guess the glass
doesn't get hot enough to cause any damage?
The "ball type cast aluminium altazimuth mount" makes it pretty easy to
manually adjust to track the sun, but the things run $200.
I'm planning on attending Astronomy Day, which runs from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at
Moran Prairie County Library.
Some of my students may show up there too, possibly. Will there be food? I'll
have to make a contribution to the food fund.

I'm too lazy to look up Paul's email :)
Paul, Are you going to bring the PST by
on Friday as we discussed, or
will you have it at Astronomy Day? Let
me know!
