Does the board have an idea for this and if so do you want to participate.

Subject: Request for Community Participation
Hello!
I'm writing to request your involvement in FanNexus, October 6th-8th 2017 at
the Spokane Convention Center. We are an interactive fandom-based convention
with a realism twist. I am in charge of the science programming for the entire
convention, and would LOVE to have your presence therein.
What we are looking for is programming that opens minds, encourages scientific
inquiry, and entertains. Some items we have at this time are a hands-on
demonstration of mechanical engineering for the new millennium, a science-based
talk on cryptids, a demonstration of real-time 3-d body printing, and a
workshop utilizing the new CircuitScribe technology for circuit drawing. We
also have as a Science Guest, Dr. Babak Parviz, current president of Amazon.com
and former Google engineer, who will be giving a special talk to our attendees
on innovation & keeping to the concept principles of MAYA: Most Advanced Yet
Acceptable. I am all about letting your own science flag fly, so if you have an
idea for a workshop or a demo that we could use, please feel free to describe
it to me, and maybe we can make it happen!
You can get a good idea of the nature of the convention by visiting the website
at https://fannex.us/science . That link takes you to the science programming ;
page, however please feel free to look around at the other areas at your
leisure!
