Hi Debbie, I can help if needed, especially with carrying equipment to and
from vehicles. Many here at the Health Physics Society are excited about
this sidewalk-style star party. Even with the viewing challenges posed by a
bright, full moon, many of our members have never participated in an
outreach event like this one, and will be thrilled by anything at all that
can be
seen through a telescope, including a photonically-washed-out full moon.
We stand ready to assist you and your SAS associates as you may need. You
only need to let me know what you'd like.
Can't wait until tomorrow night!

So do I have any volunteers for Tuesday night July 19th at Riverfront Park
event. We can enter the Park on the Washington Street gate. Don Largent
from the Park will have the gate open for us to enter at 8:30pm. There is an
area by the King Cole bridge that we can park the cars. They said the
lights on the bridge will be turned off.
I work that night but will be getting off at 8pm so I will be there.
Can I expect anyone else.
We will be there until 10:30pm. The moon is full that night not sure what
else we can see. last year we did this and the skies were filled with
smoke.
Let me know if you can come help.
