A producer from KSPS is looking for people who had experience in the space
program leading up to the lunar landings. He writes:
"I’m looking for LOCAL people (ex NASA, military, civil) that might have
some interesting stories they’d like to share about the space race. When
I say local I mean Eastern Washington, Alberta Canada, North Idaho, Western
Montana. For example, I met someone at the VA hospital weeks ago that was
a sailor on the USS Hornet when they picked up Apollo 12 astronauts!)
Personal stories connecting our local area to the major space race era. "
It's for a nationally televised mini-series later this year on PBS. If you
