Subject: Telescope question
Hoping some one in the group might help a newbe with a telescope problem. My
Meade reflector scope has two scopes along side its body. The tiny spotting
scope for helping find and align the big scope and a very long telescope which
reads Meade D=80mm F= 1200mm but I can see no model listed on it. The eye
pieces from both scopes were stolen (before I bought this scope) which is why I
got a good deal purchasing it. However I have tried every eye piece and 45
adaptor I have and can see no light/view/sky through this scope at all? The end
did not have a cover and inside is a round metal disc that allows light to pass
around its circumference. Approx 1/4 inch gap all around. Does this scope
require a special eye piece or 45 adaptor? or is it for alignment of light
perhaps?
Anyone who can help please reply radiotuner56@xxxxxxxxx
