From: nightskyinfo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This is a reminder that we will be
having a webinar tonight focused on the International Space Station, the
destination for astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley in today's historic
DEMO-2 launch! Find out what they will be up to after docking with the ISS.
Tonight's Webinar: International Space Station Research & Technology 101
You are invited to join us tonight, Wednesday, May 27, at 6pm
Pacific/9pm Eastern, to hear Brandon Reddell from NASA's Johnson Space Center
give us an inside look at the science taking place on the International Space
Station (ISS).
The International Space Station is an orbiting laboratory, in which we
are conducting research to help push us farther into space while benefiting
humans back on Earth. In this talk, Dr. Reddell will discuss why we do
research on ISS, what are we learning from ISS research, and will highlight a
couple of recent astrophysics results.
Dr. Brandon Reddell currently works in the International Space Station
Research Integration Office helping investigators get their research onto the
ISS platform.
