So, sounds like a script isn't running.
Thank you for your responses. I removed the signature files last night;
and they didn't come back overnight. It sounds like a former assistant
attempted to install the signatures, then removed the update scripts and
didn't remove the signature databases; as I was unable to find any
traces of what may have put the files there - and since I couldn't find
anything, that jives with old databases.
