proceed upstairs to the bar area. That room is not booked and you can muster
there. I’ll join you just before we start. It might not be exactly 7:30, but
we’ll aim for close.

Quick update for this Saturday's event.
Recap: Event will take place at the Micmac Aquatic Club in Dartmouth at
approximately 7:30 in the evening. John will be leading the group in playing
a limited selection of Samba Nova standards. Dress is our green shirt and
white bottoms. All who attend are invited to stay for the dance party by DJ
Zuluboy (aka our very own surdo player Khothatso) so you may want to bring
along your boogie shoes.
The plan is for John and Barry to load up the Samba Van and head over to
Wilma's house (23 Erskine St Dartmouth) for 5:30 pm to partake in the
potluck. Details of potluck were sent as separate email and if you haven't
already RSVP'd Wilma for the potluck it's still not too late.
At 6:30 John will be holding a quick practice after which we will all proceed
to the reception as a group. Samba Nova will be a surprise for the reception
guests so it is important that we all arrive together at the same time.
Note that Wilma's house is just a short walk from the Aquatic club and there
is parking on her street.
So far I have the following players listed as playing:

Tams - Martha, Mena, Eleanor, Francoise, Beth, Matthew, Francoise
Snare - Mike, Amy
Agago - Arleigh
Maybe - Carolyn, Chris, Jessica, Timm, Laura Lee
John and I will load up instruments for those confirmed. If I could get a
quick yes/no from those listed as maybe that would be great.
