Afternoon,
Just a reminder that tomorrow's meeting will be on the Zoom platform, if you
haven't got your link, please contact Vanessa, ASAP. For those of you not
comfortable, with Zoom, I will give a very short lesson on how to use it at the
start of the meeting.
The meeting WILL NOT be recorded as we will be discussing your DNA stories. IT
IS NOT a lesson on how to find DNA matches, nor is it on how to use your DNA
matches, it is for you to share your DNA STORIES.You will be able to discuss
how you wrote up your DNA story, ask how you can use what you have found in
your writing, with respect to other's privacy.
I will give examples has to how I wrote up two blog posts, with sensitive
information and how I added my 'surprise' DNA match to my tree.
Sue Stenning is going to speak on Ethics, with some examples.
My suggestion, if you are having DNA problems is to attend one of the many SAG
DNA talks or contact Christine Woodland's for advice.
