Here it is, the first issue of 2006.

In this issue:

1) What January issue would be complete without Joe Orman's Sky Events
   for the year?
2) NASA's Space Place Shows a new view of the Andromeda Galaxy from the
   GALEX Mission.
3) This months Last Call is for Aries. Lepus & Lynx are up next for
   February & March.
4) My first President's Message is here.
5) Steve Coe announces the February Novice Group Session.
6) The All-Arizona Messier Marathon announcement is on page 8.  All 110
   objects should be observable this year.  If you haven't tried a
   Marathon, why not give it a go this year?
7) The outgoing & incoming boards are thanked & introduced, respectively.
8) The Member Services section had directions to the Messier Marathon are
   on page 10.  Also please note that the price of nametags has increased
   to $12.50 for magnetic clasped or $10.50 for Pinned.
