Folks,
Doug Walker, a SACer, teaches astronomy to the students at Estrella Mountain
Community College. This fall, he is co-hosting an astronomy conference for
young collegians and has asked me to be a speaker (on, of course, double
stars). The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19.
But Doug wants to host a star party the night before (Friday, Nov 18) at a
dark site in the Estrellas. He asked if SAC could help out. I plan on taking
my C-11 out. Can we run this up the club flagpole and see if we can get some
other helpers?
