Good morning, resisters! Congress is back from their recess and ready to get
back to work! We will focus on 2 areas this week: renewal of the Violence
Against Women Act, and 2) opposition to the appointment to Stephen Moore to the
Federal Reserve Board. It looks like we'll have good weather tomorrow to I hope
to see all of your smiling faces!
Our numbers have been dwindling and we really need to make a concerted effort
to get more people on the corners with us. If we don't have enough interest, we
may consider stopping our weekly actions. I know we are all very busy with our
resistance efforts, including transforming the Dem Party, working to help
migrants, etc. but if you can squeeze in an hour and spend it with us, we'd
appreciate it!
We're having a party! The evening of May 11th at the home of Patty & Bob
Kuning. It will be a potluck to celebrate our friendship and recharge our

you their address when you RSVP. Or just ask Bob and Patty at the rally
tomorrow!
