The first hearing on RCV will be in the Finance and Government Operations
(FGO) Committee on Monday, April 8, at 5:00 PM, on the 9th floor of the
City/County building.
The members of that committee are Don Harris (chair), Pat Davis, Ken Sanchez,
Diane Gibson, and Klarissa Peña. This will be a crucial hearing, especially
considering that three of the five (Harris, Sanchez, and Peña) have not yet
committed to supporting RCV. Please contact any of these five councilors if
you are that councilor's constituent. And please show up at the Committee
hearing on April 8 to support and testify in favor of the RCV ordinance. It is
also likely that the ordinance will be heard by the entire Council on Monday,
April 15.
