The National Popular Vote bill House Bill 55

)is moving in the NM Legislature. A hearing on the National PopularVote bill
(HB 55) is to be held on Wednesday January 23 at8:30 AM at the State Capitol in
Santa Fe in Room 305 by the HouseState Government, Elections and Indian Affairs
Committee.
Committee Chairwoman Georgene Louis will askfor members of the audience in
support of the bill to raise their hands at ahearing on the National Popular
Vote bill (HB 55). We need you thereto raise your hands high.
Endorsing organization leaders, League ofWomen Voters, Indivisible, Common
Cause NM, American Federation of State,County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME),
NM Working Families, CommunicationWorkers of America (CWA), Sierra Club, Fair
Elections, ACLU, Public InterestResearch Group (PIRG) will give testimony in
support of HB 55.
