From our friend, Susan and Nasty Women.

If you are reading this, you already are voting for Stephanie Garcia Richard
for State Land Commissioner. Can you please do more? Spread the word to all of
your friends--hikers, boaters, hunters, teachers, everyone--and tell them how
important it is for them not only to also vote for Stephanie, but to pay it
forward and keep spreading the word. It needs to catch like wildfire.
Here is a link to a website that is a reminder of the many scandals that caused
us outrage when Republican candidate Pat Lyons was in
office:https://nmdemocrats.org/news/dpnm-launches-lyinlyons-com/
Given what we know already about him and his track record in public office, it
would be utterly shocking were he to be elected again as State Land
Commissioner. The office is one of the most powerful in New Mexico and it is
flat out wrong for him to have another chance to abuse it.
At stake are: transition to renewable energy; funds for educating our kids;
stopping dangerous extractive practices; access to public lands by outdoorsmen
and women; and, making leaseholders pay a fair share.
We've been watching and listening to Democratic candidate Stephanie Garcia
Richard. With her strong legislative background and ideas for moving New Mexico
towards a renewable energy portfolio, we believe she would be an extremely
effective Land Commissioner. Stephanie is committed to striving for a balance
between stewardship of public lands and fulfilling the role these important
lands have in funding public education.
This race is uncomfortably close. Pat Lyons is reportedly able to outspend
Stephanie in advertising dollars by a 4 to 1 margin, with millions of dollars
donated by Oil & Gas and other special interests. Let's not let this
happen!Vote for Stephanie Garcia Richard for Land Commissioner and .... tell
your friends!
