"behind the walls"
Good morning fellow citizens - a dear friend and passionate advocate for the
rights of Americans who are imprisoned is asking us to make calls and spread
the word about the abuse happening right now here in NM. NM has more private
prisons than any other state - making money off the incarcerated is a recipe
for abuse. Horrible levels of neglect and a 2-week lock down are happening
right now at the GEO Group Prison in Hobbs.
PLEASE - If we all call the numbers listed below - the administrators of the
prison and NM Corrections Department will know that we citizens care and are
watching.
For immediate information: contact Selinda Guerrero, community organizer, at
505-358-0830

MAKE CALLS HERE: Talking Script: We know there are numerous human rights
violations happening at the Hobbs GEO group prison. The families need answers
and we the citizens of NM demand transparency and full reporting of the
treatment of the men imprisoned in this facility. Tell Mr/Ms. ______ that New
Mexico is watching your treatment of our men.
DOC administration only has one phone number - leave messages for these
administrators who are accountable: Adult Prison Division Director, German
Franco: 505-827-8677
Deputy Director, Anthony Romero: 505-827-8677
Deputy Director, Private Facilities, Melissa Ortiz: 505-827-8677

Hobbs GEO Group Warden, Raymond Smith: 575-392-4055
GEO Group Corporation: 608-230-1000, 800-993-2262
NM Governor, Susana Martinez: 505-476-2200
NM Senators - Request their intervention into the repeated human rights
violation right here in NM. Inmates at the GEO Group Prison facility in Hobbs
are being denied toilet paper, access to hygiene, access to their families, and
decent edible food. Do not deny our fellow citizens their rights to be treated
humanely.Senator Tom Udall: 505-346-6791Senator Martin Heinrich: 505-346-6601
THANK YOU FOR CALLING TODAY!
