I share this reply from Leona Holloway on VIP-List to the question whether
there exists a library service for Braille users that has a 3D Printing Service
or where you can borrow 3D images of famous architecture, nature and animals:
At the Tactile Reading conference this month, there was talk of CraftML, which
allows you to create 3D models using html code. See https://craftml.io/ ;
I have also used OpenSCAD to create 3D models with braille on them using code
only. Most other 3D modelling software does require vision to use.
We do not have a library of pre-made 3D objects in Australia but there are
quite a few repositories of free models which you can download and print for
yourself. Some local libraries offer 3D printing and there are also commercial
printing options.
ANZAGG (the Australia and New Zealand Accessible Graphics Group) has compiled
some information about 3D printing at

I will also be running a workshop on getting started with 3D printing for
accessible objects at the Round Table Conference in Perth next month.
