So, here’s the funny thing. I moved here because this is Melanie’s home. It
never occurred to me to explore — no time for that with work and family
obligations. I rolled back my law practice when the pandemic arrived, and with
all the free time thought I should have a look around. I had no earthly idea
that I had managed by serendipity to move to Paradise. The nearest town is Mars
Hill. I am on the border of the Pisgah Forest, not ten miles from the
Appalachian Trail, with the Cherokee Forest on the other side. You could spend
a lifetime wandering the trails and mountains here. You can’t take a bad
picture. The glory of creation is everywhere.
