Richard, just what do you mean by hijacked? The Rollei-Yahoo acct., the entire Yahoo acct. or ? How can this happen generally?

Roger (WK9R)

Evidently a lot of e-mail accounts were hacked. The hacker is able to post using the account. If the account has a web based address book the hacker sends to all in it. Yahoo seems to have had a lot of its accounts hacked and there is another from an AT&T account today (also got the same thing personally). One way to avoid this is to change passwords frequently. I don't know how the hacking is done but it suggests a lot of ISP's do not have very strong security. To be clear this does not seem to be hacking of individual machines.
