Hi Jan -

Thanks for your contributions... the gallery now has over 130
contributors and 2000+ images to enjoy from some great shooters, many
of whom are part of this group. All are welcome and it's free!

It make sense that the 'flex should out perform the Ikonta; a front
cell focusing folder with an f/2.8 Tessar will be disadvantaged. We
have had this discussion before on the list, and there are those who
maintain that the BX performs to the level of the 'flex, so it is
possible that there is some individual variation at work here...

I myself have a Super Ikonta 69 folder (with f/3.5 Tessar) , and it is
nice, but again I think any front cell focusing folder will have
performance compromises. My fav 69 shooters are a miniature Speed and
a Busch Pressman, from which I can hang any number of fine lenses. I
also think they have the edge over folders relative to film
flatness...
