The T stands for "Terrific", I think :) Personally, I prefer the 3.5F, or even the 2.8F - but the T is a very, very capable machine. When I'm travelling, I often find space for a T with a few filters, a couple of Rolleinars and the Panoram head - it's a very versatile machine for the weight.
