Last Saturday I thought about a shot with the SL 66 and the new plate
adapter putting the camera on the tripod and using a small f-stop and the
camera mirror up to obtain sharpness and DOF; I began to compose the image
through the viewfinder camera hand-held looking for the best site to place
the tripod when I suddenly touched the shutter release button and released
it losing my planned shot because I had only loaded one film holder at the
moment, however I realized the image could be in focus and the camera
setting 1/250 f4 (the Zeiss Distagon 4/80 wide open) from the last shot
several weeks ago could be enough for the exposure and I decided to develop
the Wephota 100 6,5x9cm film sheet for the 6x6 frame.
The SL66 film plate adapter back is as simple as the TLR film plate adapter
back, but it has an upper auto-movable hood to help the velvet to protect
the film sheet from light leaks

There is a Plate Adapter for the SLR Rolleiflex SL66, This back is not
so common and it seems that it only appears from time to time for sale. I
found one of them at the auction site and bought it, I`m waiting for it
now. This SL66 plate adapter uses the TLR plate adapter film holder (
Prochnow Register PR 111/4) and works the same way, a 6,5 x 9cm film sheet
or glass plate to produce a 6x6 image.
I think it could be useful to take advantage of the SL66 close-up up
photographs and lens tilt capabilities for a dedicated film sheet process
and quick results:
