I have two for the 6X6 and one in grey for the 4x4. One was repainted due
to its severe service history in the US Navy. I painted it in a military
sage green. The other two are minty. Clearly, these were built to protect
the cameras from the worst conditions imaginable.

Congratulations! I am familiar with the tropical case. It is offered on
camera fairs over here occasionally. I understand that the tube for Silica
gel desiccant is present. That is good, it is quite often missing.

condition. It's hardly bigger and wider than a TLR camera, however it has
room for a lens hood. It's light despite the robust metal construction and
designed to float on the water with the camera inside. You slide the camera
into the basis using the Rolleifix groove, the basis has a pivot mechanism,
this way the camera reaches the vertical up position when you open the
frontal door and you can take photos, the same way the camera is kept in
the vertical down position when you close the frontal door. It has a tube
for silica gel. This case looks more practical and safer than the ever
ready case and it's provided with a leather strap. I will upload some
images when I have time to do it.
