Hi everybody,
Since my last update, my 35 Se had to go back to the repair shop, the original
problem resurfaced. I picked it up earlier in the week and put a short 12
exposure roll of film through it. I have a bulk loader and a bulk roll of
Kentmere 400 so easy to make short exposure rolls. The Rollei performed well
although the light meter is conking out. When I got it, it would run through
the red and green lights and adjust those to the correct green as the settings
were adjusted. Then the green disappeared, and only the reds would show, and
now the bottom red is on all the time. The technician that worked on the camera
does not do any electronics, and I did not want to waste his time on this if he
did. I will work with either my hand held light meter or Sunny 16 rules. After
all this is a zone focus camera, who needs a light meter?
The following link to my Rollei folder, has the last 3 black and white images
that were shot with the 35 SE.
