I could find some negs from 1998 about the Pentax and zoom used during my vacations in Brazil , I think my former wife has the others and they will be available for me the next week, however I scanned some of these old 35mm negs - they are needing a bit of Pec 12 due to humidity- taken during our 1998 vacations in Torres, Gramado and Porto Alegre in the Rio Grande do Sul state-RS- Brazil. All them were taken with the Pentax zoom 28-80 that I referred yesterday; if someone finds a bit poor the scanning process, I agree, but I must say that the 18x13cm prints are excellent. They are 10 photographs about Gramado, a small city founded by German immigrants, the Guarita beach in Torres, nice small city on the Atlantic Ocean and about Porto Alegre the big RS capital and one of the more important cities in Southern Brazil, the series starts here: http://www.rollei-gallery.net/itar/image-88960.html All the best Carlos --- Carlos Manuel Freaza <cmfreaza@xxxxxxxxxxxx> escribió: > I'm afraid that entered very "light" on this topic, > I > only commented that I was very comfortable for long > trips using the SLR Pentax P30t with the SMC Pentax > A > Macro 28-80 3.5/4.5 zoom, however I did not explain > why. > I'm a Rolleiflex TLR man and then I to change > lenses, but during my vacations trips to Southern > Brazil carrying the Rolleiflex only, sometimes I > wished to have a wide angle lens for groups, > houses, > buildings, churches, etc. I had traveled with the > coupled rangefinder Voss Diax IIb 35 mm camera with > the normal Xenon Schneider 50 mm f/2 lens and a > wide > angle Schneider Xenagon 3.5/35mm (excellent lens), > however to use the wide angle on this Diax , I > needed to fit the special additional 35mm viewfinder > and I was tired about it, also it was necessary > care > very much with sand, wind, waves having the camera > body open to change the lens, more care for the > lenses... > The solution was the Pentax P30t with the zoom I > referred previously.
