Manhattan is a place you sell your car/s to move to.
People don't own them here.
I have mixed feelings about our American car culture.
I need to get my NY Drivers license this week but I think I have a few more
years leeway.
It cost more to park your car then own an apartment in Portland Oregon where
I'm from.
So the lack of car payments and insurance offsets the higher rent you pay
here.
The subways are miraculous in NY. And the bus system. And cabs really don't
cost that much though I rarely take them.
