2.8C = good.

Well actually I usually only run tests on cameras I own or consider owning
and I have never used an Olympus though I have seen friends snap shots
done with one that looked great in color. Sometimes the test is more a
user test than anything like walking around with my new Rollei 35S to see
if I could guestimate focus accurately vs walking around with a friends
contax with similar sonnar to see if I could guestimate with his camera at
a slightly different focal length. As you say though it is all just in
fun.

it does seem like some cameras are charmed. I used to use a 2.8E2 with
Xenotar and it seemed like everything I did was good. I would like to get
my hands on a 2.8C sometime to see how I like the 9 bladed aperture. I
love Ralph Eugene Meatyard's work and I am pretty certain he used a 2.8C.
  Certainly everything will look better through the lens on your 2.8C than
it does on your Rollei 35.
