Marc, good to hear from you. Delighted you are getting better.We miss your
enlightened commentary on a host of interesting topics. Also, good to hear that
you are getting great care at Veterans Hospital. My Uncle, age 96, a WW2 vet,
is in a Veteran's Nursing Home in NY State, fist class care. He loves it.

Thanks for the interest, Richard! I am doing much better nowand am mending
slowly. (I have had magnificent care from the localVeterans' Administration
hospital, incidentally. Mywife is a master's-level nurse, and she is quite
pleased with the care,as well.)
I don't spend the time on my computer that I once did, so I have beenre-reading
books from my library as I hew it down to a workablesize. But I read every
Rollei List message and I still manage thelist, with a lot of help from the
editors.
It is odd to note that I have taken few pictures since I shifted todigital.
Somehow, doing it all on swizzle sticks and computerslacks the raw romance of
me and my camera and the wonders of the darkroom.
