I've had the same issue with the shades for my SL66. I think the problem
with the Rollei flat black paint is that primer wasn't used or the
inside surface of the shade wasn't etched. When I repainted mine, I used
primer under Floquil "engine black" paint from a hobby shop (it's
flatter than the the usual stuff) and oven-baked the shade for about a
half hour. The baking may have been unnecessary, but it made me feel
better.
I did one shade this way fifteen years ago and it still looks like new.
