Elias: According the 3.5F/2.8F manual, shutter speeds values are not variable between "clicks" or numbers and then they recommend to set the shutter speed putting the numbers at the window centre. My 3.5F no longer has the clicks, Harry eliminated them, I don't know the exact reason he did it but I'm happy because when I tested the camera to send it to CLA, I disliked the "clicks"; perhaps it could get intermediate speeds now, I did not do a try yet. The 2.8C has variable speeds from 1 sec to 1/10th sec and from 1/25th sec to 1/250th, there are no variable speeds between 1/10th and 1/25th and between 1/250th and 1/500th. My 3.5F selenium cells worked fine up to last year and I enjoyed it; then the lightmeter started to be imprecise for indoors shots specially, I use a hand lightmeter now. I had tried to buy selenium cells from Todd to have them like spare part, however he advised me to use a hand lightmeter when my camera cells atart to fail, he wrote me that even new selenium cells old stock tended to fail due to their age from the manufacturing date. Be careful about the 3.5F lens caps, there are two BII lens caps types according the camera model, one of them is the BII lens caps for the 3.5C/E and for the 3.5E2, the other type is the BII for the 3.5F and 3.5E3, the difference is the distance between lenses, 42mm for the first type and 45mm for the second type.- Carlos --- El sáb 7-mar-09, Elias Roustom <eroustom@xxxxxxxxxxx> escribió: > A student of mine brought in a Rolleiflex 3.5F that he > inherited from his grandmother.
