After viewing the feedback on the list together with your fine
recommendation, I will try one, I've got one on order at only 75USD.
So I'm not I the same league as one Mr. Rockefeller as of yet!
I trust you on the mounting issue, I'd love to be able to try a Planar on a
solid rangefinder body though. I have handled dozens of Graflex XL's, but
never one that works properly so I've never been able to test the lenses on
them. Hence my interest in the Koni Omega, the body seems solid and
reliable. Unlike the Graflex XL Medium format rangefinder, which feels like
a cheap version of a Kodak Fun camera.
However, I do not that there is a depth of experience on the list and I
happily will stand corrected.

The lenses are very good - really take advantage of the special pessure
plate set-up ( the plate clamps down on the film during exposure , lifts up
during transport).
I doubt that the Koni mount could practically be made to adapt to other
lenses, though.
