Thank you for the idea about rolling the drums. I use a Jobo for B&W and I have 
wondered what I will do when the machine dies. Hand-rolling the drums is a good 
idea. Buying a replacement won't be easy or cheap insomuch that Jobo no longer 
makes the model I use.

In the time being, I'll simply count the number of rolls the Jobo does in 15 
seconds and I'll know the rate to do it by hand should I have to. 

I must admit that the Jobo makes developing film fun in addition to producing 
consistent results. Once I dialed my development times in through trial and 
error, I started to consistent to get great negatives.
