Some months ago I bought a Rolleikin set with the orange mask for the
camera parallax compensation mask, it does not reduce the image size as the
mask on the focusing screen or the mask on the sports finder to compensate
parallax. I already had the Rolleikin C for the 2,8C from my father's time,
but it does not have the Rolleikin counter knob because it came from
factory for C, D and 2,8E cameras. It was not so easy to find a Rolleikin
set witht the counter knob, most of them are on the cameras or lost today.
I always used 35mm color film with the Rolleikin, I think this was the
first time I used B&W film for the Rolleikin. This accesory is for fun
today, but it was one of the main Rollei accesories for the TLR in the
past. The TLR lens works like a short Tele and it's excellent for portraits
and the like. It can be used for the horizontal format too, but the
ergonomics is not so good.
