An excellent article ran in today's local newspaper about the photo show
here. This on-line version is the "Reader's Digest Condensed Version" of
what appeared in the newspaper on the front page of its Lifestyle section:

The photo (by Debbie Winchester who lives 35 miles south of here) took
"Best of Show" and the full article in the paper also ran a B/W version of
the "Judge's Choice." Although the Best of Show certainly has the greatest
visual impact from among those with best composition and execution there
are a good number of others hot on its heels. Overall it's abundantly
clear the 30 photographers who participated had visualized what they wanted
to do and had given careful thought about how to execute it. Haven't seen
a regional nonprofessional show this strong before.
Thought you would enjoy seeing the photograph . . . the Big Version hanging
on the wall at the Art Center is truly stunning!
